Mayor Malik D. Evans and the City of Rochester’s Hispanic Heritage Committee have announced the return of Roc'n Ritmo, a celebration of Latin music and culture set for June 7, 2025. The event will be held at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

The event will feature Caña Brava, a Puerto Rican tropical music group known for its blend of merengue and bachata. The group has performed at notable venues such as Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall. Hosting the evening will be Franco “El Matatan.”

Mayor Evans expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “I listened to some Caña Brava and I can say that it does not disappoint. This music is festive and it will make you move.”

The festival will also include local entertainment, food vendors, and interactive activities. General admission is free, with a special VIP experience available for $25, which can be purchased online.

Organized by the City of Rochester’s Hispanic Heritage Committee, Roc'n Ritmo is designed to celebrate Latin culture through music, dance, and community involvement. The event promises to connect people through the rich traditions of Hispanic heritage.

The City of Rochester and its Hispanic Heritage Committee present the event, with production by Orlando Ortiz of RocOn Times, LLC. Further details are available on the city's website.
