The City of Rochester Public Market has extended an invitation to local nonprofit organizations and agencies focused on children and families to participate in this year's Halloween at the Market. This event, sponsored by Fidelis Care, is set to take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 280 N. Union St.
The free event aims to engage with over 5,000 local families through a variety of activities. The annual celebration provides children a safe space for trick-or-treating in their Halloween costumes while also serving as a community-resource fair. Organizations have the opportunity to foster connections, raise awareness about their services, and make lasting impressions on attendees.
Participating groups will be given space under the Public Market's covered outdoor sheds where they can distribute treats and provide information about their programs. For-profit organizations or companies that support children and families are also welcome to apply for participation but cannot sell products during the event.
