International Plaza Market Sunday honors Fatman Scoop with musical tribute

This week’s International Plaza Market Sunday will feature ROC the Plaza: The Music Tribute to Fatman Scoop from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, at 828 N. Clinton Ave.

This event celebrates the music of the late Grammy Award-winning artist, Fatman Scoop. Attendees can expect live music from DJ Big Red hosted by Grand Tone.

Managed in collaboration with the City of Rochester and the Ibero American Development Corporation, the International Plaza features a wide variety of food, merchandise, and entertainment highlighting global cuisine, culture, and heritage. Community-based organizations are also on-site to present information on services and resources available to residents.

In addition to Market Sundays, the International Plaza is open for lunch from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays. The International Plaza season runs through Oct. 13. Free parking is available on site.

Vendor spaces are available with rates starting at $20 per week. Discounts are available for multiple weeks and for the season.
