Members of the City of Rochester’s Pathways to Peace outreach team are organizing barbeques in several city neighborhoods this summer. The Pathways to Peace Barbeques aim to build positive relationships, strengthen neighborhoods, and reduce youth violence.
This week’s free Peace Barbeque will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, July 24 at Manhattan Square Park, 353 Court St. Members of the Pathways to Peace outreach team will serve barbeque and provide residents with valuable information and resources.
Additional Peace Barbeques are scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
- Wednesday, July 31, at the corner of Grand Avenue and Chamberlain Street
- Wednesday, August 7, at the corner of Joseph Avenue and Upper Falls Boulevard
- Thursday, August 15, at the corner of Flint Street and Jefferson Avenue
- Friday, August 30, at Ontario Beach Park, 50 Beach Ave., near the Dentzel Carousel
