Urban League of Rochester, Monroe County, City of Rochester, and Rochester City School District are set to host a Livestreamed Annual RASE Commission Community Update tonight at 5 p.m. The event is in commemoration of the third anniversary of the release of the Commission on Racial and Structural Equity (RASE) report. The report, developed by over 200 community volunteers, aims to address racial and structural disparities in various sectors.

The Livestream event will feature presentations from Monroe County, the City of Rochester, and community members involved in the Community Advancing Recommendations Teams. These presentations will focus on the progress made on RASE recommendations in 2023 and outline future initiatives led by the Urban League of Rochester. The Urban League was appointed in 2022 to spearhead the implementation of RASE recommendations on a communitywide scale.

For those interested, the Livestream can be accessed on the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County YouTube channel. This update is significant in highlighting the ongoing efforts to promote equity and address barriers that have led to disparities in the community.

As the community gathers virtually for this important update, the focus remains on advancing equity and inclusivity across various sectors. The collaboration between key stakeholders and community members reflects a united effort to bring about positive change in Rochester.

The Livestreamed Annual RASE Commission Community Update serves as a platform to showcase the dedication and progress made in implementing recommendations that aim to foster a more equitable and inclusive environment for all community members.

The Livestream event promises to be an informative and engaging session, shedding light on the advancements achieved and the path forward in realizing the goals set forth by the RASE report.
