Urban League of Rochester, Monroe County, City of Rochester, and Rochester City School District are set to host a Livestreamed Annual RASE Commission Community Update tonight at 5 p.m. The event is in commemoration of the third anniversary of the release of the Commission on Racial and Structural Equity (RASE) report. The report, developed by over 200 community volunteers, aims to address racial and structural disparities in various sectors.
The Livestream event will feature presentations from Monroe County, the City of Rochester, and community members involved in the Community Advancing Recommendations Teams. These presentations will focus on the progress made on RASE recommendations in 2023 and outline future initiatives led by the Urban League of Rochester. The Urban League was appointed in 2022 to spearhead the implementation of RASE recommendations on a communitywide scale.
