The City of Rochester Public Market has announced the upcoming Flower City Days horticultural sales set for May and June. The events will take place at 280 N. Union St., offering opportunities for local growers and sellers of garden-related items to participate as vendors. According to the Market, vendor spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Events will be held on Sundays, including May 11, which coincides with Mother's Day, followed by May 18, May 25, and June 1. Additional events have been planned for Memorial Day Weekend on Friday, May 23, and Monday, May 26. All events will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sellers interested in participating must note that eligibility requires a nursery license for those selling live plants. Information about the events, including vendor eligibility rules and application packets, can be found on the official website at www.cityofrochester.gov/flowercitydays. Inquiries can be directed to the Market Office by calling 585-428-6907 from Tuesday to Friday mornings.
