Party in the Park announces 28th season lineup starting July 10

Mayor Malik Evans has announced the return of the Party in the Park concert series, set to take place at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park beginning Thursday, July 10. This year marks the 28th anniversary of the event, kicking off with a headlining performance by Seven Wonders and an opening act by Highway Boys, a Zac Bryan tribute band.

Mayor Evans stated, “Party in the Park has proven to be a community favorite for 28 years and counting. There is something for everyone and everyone is welcome. So, I invite the entire community to come Downtown and enjoy the world-class entertainment that has put this event front and center as an example of our longstanding love for music and community.”

The concert series, promoted by Jeff Springut, CEO of RochesterEvents.com, will feature performances every Thursday through August 14. Springut emphasized the value and experience, saying, “Music brings people together, and you can’t get any better than this—two amazing acts all in one night each week for only $7.”

General admission tickets are available for $7, with children 12 and under allowed free entry. A limited number of VIP Ultra Lounge tickets are available for $35, which include additional amenities. All closing acts will have ASL interpretation.

The lineup for the Party in the Park concert series is as follows:

- July 10: Seven Wonders; Highway Boys – a Zac Bryan tribute band

- July 17: Cruel Summer - a Taylor Swift live band tribute; BB Dang

- July 25: Melvin Seals and JGB; Dogs in a Pile

- July 31: Ripe; Badfish - a tribute to Sublime

- August 7: Andy Frasco and the Un; Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs

- August 14: Eddie 9volt; with special guests to be announced

Patrons can enjoy New York State's craft beers and wine options during the event. However, certain items including lawn chairs, skateboards, and pets are not permitted. Free parking is available after 6 p.m. at metered street parking, with additional parking garages open in the vicinity.

The Party in the Park is organized by the City of Rochester in collaboration with various sponsors, including Genesee Brewing and Labatt Blue Light. Tickets and further details can be accessed at www.cityofrochester.gov/PITP.
