"Today, the City of Rochester announced that the boil water notice that had been in effect for a portion of the city following the discovery of a deceased individual within the Highland Park Reservoir has been lifted," stated a press release from the City of Rochester.

According to the same press release, "Se ha confirmado que las pruebas de calidad del suministro del agua son seguras," confirming the safety of the water supply in all areas of the city.

In alignment with the city's vision and values, the Administration of Mayor Malik D. Evans aims to "create a safe, equitable and prosperous Rochester by inspiring hope and delivering opportunity for everyone," as highlighted by the City of Rochester.

As the draining, cleaning, and refilling of the Highland Park Reservoir continues over the next few months, residents can now rest assured that the water is safe to drink in all areas of the city. For further details, individuals are encouraged to visit www.CityofRochester.gov/boilwater.
