The City of Rochester has taken action to assist residents within the boil water notice area by offering convenient access to bottled water. According to a recent announcement, residents are encouraged to collect up to two gallons of free bottled water per household before 6:30 p.m. today, while supplies last.

In a show of community support, the City has made approximately 1,000 gallons of bottled water available, with 500 gallons generously donated by Wegmans. The initiative aims to alleviate any inconvenience caused by the ongoing boil water notice, which remains in effect.

Mayor Malik D. Evans' administration is committed to building a safe, fair, and prosperous Rochester, as stated in their mission to inspire hope and provide opportunities for all residents. The city's employees are dedicated to upholding the values outlined in the "Rochester 2034" comprehensive plan, focusing on exceptional customer service, transparent stewardship, and collaborative leadership to promote a thriving community that fosters growth on personal, professional, and generational levels.

Residents seeking more information or wishing to confirm their location within the boil water notice area can visit www.cityofrochester.gov/boilwater.
