Discover a springtime paradise at the City of Rochester Public Market with the return of the legendary Flower City Days, kicking off Sunday, May 14. These horticultural sales feature hundreds of vendors with all your gardening essentials. Browse perennials and annual plants, hanging baskets, succulents, herb and vegetable plants, garden accessories, and much more.
Flower City Days run 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following days:
• Sundays: May 14, 21, and 28 and June 4 and 11
• Memorial Day Weekend: Friday, May 26 and Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day)
In addition to the Flower City Days vendor offerings, routine Market vendors will be present in the B shed and unique small businesses are located throughout the Market District. Master Gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County will also be available to provide expert gardening advice to shoppers.
The City also offers a “Give and Take” plant container recycling program outside the Market Office. Gardeners can deposit garden pots, flats and containers at the office and take any they may need.
