Cost of college went up for all students at Genesee Valley BOCES-Practical Nursing Program

Tuition and fees rose 3.2 percent for 2018-19 at Genesee Valley BOCES-Practical Nursing Program, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $13,793 to attend the public school this year – $425 more than the $13,368 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 13 students received grants or scholarships totaling $86,606 and 12 students took out student loans totaling more than $96,392.

Including all undergraduates (129), 93 students used grants or scholarships totaling $511,424, and 100 students took out $752,160 in federal student loans.
