The City of Rochester is looking for organizations to act as Street Liaisons in the city's four quadrants. The goal is to support local businesses, attract investments, and promote economic growth along key commercial corridors.

The city will select Street Liaisons through a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process. The areas in need of liaisons are divided as follows:

- Northwest: Lyell Avenue, Dewey Avenue, Lake Avenue, and West Ridge Road

- Northeast: Joseph Avenue/Portland Avenue, Hudson Avenue, North Clinton Avenue (Spanish-speaking ability preferred), and the Public Market area

- Southwest/Downtown: West Main Street, Chili Avenue, Jefferson Avenue/South Plymouth Avenue, Brooks Avenue/Thurston Road/Arnett Boulevard, and Genesee Street

- Southeast: South Clinton Avenue, South Avenue, Monroe Avenue/Goodman Plaza/East Main Street

The program aims to enhance relationships between local businesses and city resources. Selected liaisons will collaborate with the City's Business Development Division and Neighborhood Service Centers. Their role includes providing outreach, technical assistance, and access to financial resources for small businesses. The deadline for submitting qualifications is Friday, April 11, 2025, at 1 p.m.
