Bands on the Bricks concert series continues Friday with Into the Now

The Bands on the Bricks summer live music series, presented by the IDE Family of Dealerships, continues at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12 with a performance by Into the Now, Rochester’s long-running tribute to the Grateful Dead. The evening will begin with an opening act by Personal Blend and will also feature the Second Annual Bands on the Bricks Arts and Crafts Festival, showcasing 80 artisan vendors.

Now in its 26th year, this popular and free music series includes renowned local and national acts, along with a wide selection of local food and beverages, and general merchandise vendors at the City of Rochester Public Market, located at 280 N. Union St.

Bands on the Bricks will continue for four consecutive Fridays through August 9. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and shows start at 6 p.m. The remaining lineup for the 2024 season is as follows:

- July 19: Headliner Dirty Work featuring members of Aqueous with guest Peter Griffith Group; opener Brian Griffith Band (blues, rock).

- July 26: Headliner Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad (psychedelic, jam band); opener Judah (rock).

- August 2: Headliner ZBTB (Zac Brown tribute band); opener The Monica Hall Band (country rock).

- August 9: Headliner Donna the Buffalo (reggae, folk rock); opener Chris Beard (blues).

Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs as seating is limited at the Public Market. A special VIP section is hosted by Advantage Federal Credit Union.
