On June 27, 2023, Brett Marrapese has been placed on unpaid leave and informed that the City is seeking to terminate his employment given the nature of the crimes of which he is accused.
The City placed Marrapese on paid leave immediately upon the FBI’s serving a search warrant related to his charges, and began proceedings to place him on unpaid leave immediately upon his arrest on Friday, June 23.
The City is expediting disciplinary employment proceedings that are required by law.
