Penfield home prices fall in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Penfield fell by $9,500 while total sales increased by 334.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 200 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,000 - a 5.1% decrease over the $184,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Penfield in the first half of 2016.
