Rochester home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Rochester rose by $12,893 while total sales increased by 415.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 588 homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,893 - a 25.3% increase over the $51,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 114 homes sold in Rochester in the second quarter of 2016.
