Mayor Malik D. Evans has launched an online tool enabling residents to estimate their property tax bills for the 2024-25 fiscal year. The tool, available at www.cityofrochester.gov/taxestimate, allows users to enter an address and receive a comparison of their net property tax burden from 2023-24 with the estimated burden for 2024-25. The platform also displays homestead tax rates, assessed values, portions of the tax bills attributable to property taxes, applicable exemptions, and their totals.
The City of Rochester has announced that $170,000 has been awarded to local artists and arts organizations through ArtsBloom, an initiative under the City's Percent for the Arts program.
