Cruel Summer: A LIVE Taylor Swift Band Experience and Dial Up: An Ultimate 90’s Tribute will perform at Party in the Park on Thursday, Aug. 8, at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, 353 Court St. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., with gates opening an hour earlier.

Party in the Park now features Pre-Parties to kick off festivities earlier, thanks to partnerships with local businesses offering live music and drink specials at venues on East Avenue and Marshall Street.

The concert series continues every Thursday through Aug. 15, concluding with performances by Everclear and Shamarr Allen.

General admission tickets are priced at $7, with free entry for children aged 12 and under. VIP Ultra Lounge tickets, which include admission and additional amenities, are available for $35 but must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be bought online at RochesterEvents.com or in-person at the Auditorium Theater located at 885 E. Main St.

The VIP Ultra Lounge offers exclusive access to a private area featuring restrooms, a full cash bar, table service, front stage access, chair massages, and a commemorative lanyard.

Craft beer enthusiasts can visit the Beer Garden showcasing New York State’s best IPAs, ciders, stouts, and more. The Bubbly Bar will also return with prosecco and mimosas available during happy hour from 6–7:30 p.m.

Bazaar in the Park is a weekly gathering of emerging designers, vintage collectors, and artisanal products that fosters a community around art, crafts, fashion, and discovery. New vendors join every other week.

Attendees may bring one sealed bottle of water into the concerts; however, lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, and pets are prohibited.

Parking is available at nearby garages including Washington Square Garage (111 Woodbury Blvd.), Court Street Garage (194 Court St.), East End Garage (475 E. Main St.), and The Strong Museum (1 Manhattan Square).

East Ave.: Live Before Five presented by Canandaigua National Bank runs from 4–6 p.m., featuring live music and drink specials at Aqua Vitae; Axes & Ales; Filgers; Fools Gold; Murphy’s Law; Recreo; Studio Lounge; Veneto.

Strangebird Brewery (62 Marshall St.): Every Monday & Thursday during Party in the Park series hosts Happy Hour from 5–7 p.m., offering chances to win VIP tickets for that week’s show on Mondays. On Thursdays patrons can enjoy beer specials along with cocktail specials food music yard games themed activities Municipal parking is available on Marshall Street’s far end
