Census Bureau: More women than men in Rochester in 2019

Of the 206,848 people living in Rochester in 2019, 51.5 percent (106,486) were women and 48.5 percent (100,362) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Rochester Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 70,326-to-67,060. In the 65 and over age range, there were 13,109 females and 9,422 males.
