Rochester home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Rochester rose by $8,000 while total sales increased by 318.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 980 homes sold, with a median sale price of $57,000 - a 16.3% increase over the $49,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 234 homes sold in Rochester in the first half of 2016.
