Local artists, designers, jewelers, crafters, and merchants of distinctive goods are invited to register for the annual Holidays at the Market event series at the City of Rochester Public Market, located at 280 N. Union St.
This year, four Holidays at the Market events are scheduled:
– Sunday, December 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
– Sunday, December 8, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
– Sunday, December 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
– A special Thursday evening event on December 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event has been a popular holiday shopping tradition in Rochester for over a generation. It provides business startups and boutique retail stores with an opportunity to reach thousands of shoppers looking for unique holiday gifts with local appeal.
The series will feature dozens of vendors offering holiday-themed products such as fresh-cut trees and wreaths, specialty foods and beverages, clothing, jewelry, handcrafted goods, and other unique items. Visitors can also enjoy visits from Santa and horse-drawn carriage rides on Sundays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Vendor spaces are available for all four event dates. The rates per stall (10’ x 30’) are $60 per Sunday; $155 for all three Sundays; $25 for the Thursday evening event; or $175 for all three Sundays plus Thursday. Interested vendors should apply early as reservations are on a first-come-first-served basis and fill quickly.
