The City of Rochester is set to launch its Food Truck Rodeo series, featuring performances by the Royal Bromleys. The event is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the City of Rochester Public Market located at 280 N. Union St.

The Food Truck Rodeos are popular events that draw large crowds seeking diverse local food options from various food trucks. This year, attendees can expect a range of musical performances, including blues, soul, funk, gospel, and rock. The schedule for future Rodeo events includes performances by Earthtones, Folk Faces, Cool Club & The Lipker Sisters, Junk Yard Field Trip, and Steve Grills and the Roadmasters, taking place from May through September.

Parking near the event is limited, prompting organizers to encourage attendees to carpool, cycle, use public transportation, or walk. The public is also advised to bring folding chairs due to limited seating availability on the Market grounds.

Sponsored by the City of Rochester, Rohrbach Brewing Company, and the Market District Business Association, the Rodeo series aims to offer a vibrant community experience. Mayor Malik D. Evans’s administration is dedicated to promoting a safe, equitable, and prosperous environment in Rochester, inspired by the “Rochester 2034” comprehensive plan. The city’s employees strive to deliver exceptional service and transparent leadership to enhance growth and opportunity in the community.
