One of the two on-ramps to Interstate 490 East from South Avenue in Downtown and the ramp that carries South Avenue beneath the highway structure will be closed starting Friday, July 12 to approximately Wednesday, July 17 to accommodate water-main maintenance operations.

Motorists approaching the intersection from South Avenue or Woodbury Boulevard will be routed to the eastern “flyover” ramp onto I-490 while the center ramp to South Avenue and the western ramp near the ROC City Skatepark are closed.

South Avenue will be closed from Woodbury Boulevard to Griffith Street during the operation. South Avenue Extension will remain open. Detours will be posted. The duration of the operation is an estimate due to weather dependency.
